Our customer wanted an encapsulated crawlspace along with SilverGlo insulation on the walls. But this unique southern home had two exterior, covered porches with slatted floors built within the existing foundation envelope. Our challenge was to create a support structure in the crawlspace that could hold SilverGlo insulating panels without touching the ground. Foreman Tyler Cates built a frame between pillars that attached to the floor joists and sat four inches above the ground. He then inserted the SilverGlo insulation and attached the CleanSpace material up onto the panels, thereby creating an insulated and encapsulated space. Nice job Tyler and crew! Check out the picture to see the work in progress.
